If you are unable to vote in person on Election Day, absentee voting provides a convenient alternative.
If you are not already registered to vote in the Village of Plum City, you will need to register before an Absentee Ballot can be mailed to you.
All requests for an Absentee Ballot must be made in writing by the elector.
A photo ID is required with your absentee ballot application.
Request Online: Visit myvote.wi.gov to request a ballot through the state's secure portal.
Request In Person: You can request an application for an absentee ballot in person at the Village Clerk's office during regular business hours. This option is typically available starting the third Monday before the election and ends at 5:00 p.m. on the Friday before the election. Please contact the Clerk's office for specific dates and times for each election.
Request by Mail: Complete the Application for Absentee Ballot and mail it to:

The application must be received by the Clerk no later than 4:30 p.m. on the Thursday before the election for an Absentee Ballot to be mailed to you.
Your completed absentee ballot must be returned to the Village Clerk's office by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. If returning in person, please drop it off at the Village Clerk's office.
The U.S. Postal Service recommends mailing absentee ballots at least one week before Election Day to ensure timely arrival.
