Street Maintenance & Repair

• Pavement Management: Implementing a comprehensive program for street resurfacing, repair, and reconstruction to extend the life of our roadways.

• Street Sweeping: Regularly sweeping streets to remove debris, improve air quality, and maintain a clean appearance throughout the Village.

• Signage & Markings: Installing and maintaining street signs, traffic signals, and pavement markings to guide drivers and pedestrians safely.

• Culvert & Drainage Maintenance: Ensuring proper drainage to prevent water accumulation and protect our streets from damage.

• Right-of-Way Care: Maintaining public areas adjacent to roadways, including tree trimming and brush control, for safety and aesthetics.

Snow & Ice Removal

When winter weather arrives, the Streets Department shifts into high gear to keep our roads clear and safe. Our snow and ice removal operations are a top priority, focusing on:

• Plowing & Salting: Efficiently plowing snow and applying de-icing materials to ensure main routes and residential streets are passable.

• Emergency Route Clearing: Prioritizing critical routes for emergency vehicles and essential services.
